KXR Conversion
Can
you guess what frame this is. We at the SoCal XR's camp have been busy.
When we get this to work more than a few of you with older conversions will be
stoked to know that there is hope for your aging bike. This is just the
first step of mounting up plastics to line up. In fact, it took about two
hours just to get this far. Check out the vise grips holding the sub-frame
in place.
After a change of ownership and a year later this
project has finally been completed. Ray Groom at Spike Racing did the
majority of the needed fabrication, while Dan Alamengos (the new owner) finished
it up with the final touch ups.
